Arts Advocacy Day 2023: Useful Information for Tennessee's Day on the Hill

Numbers Matter. The arts Matter. The vitality of our communities Matter; and Tennessee's public funding for the arts Matter. We are asking you to join with fellow Arts Advocates to amplify our voice for and commitment to the arts in Tennessee, our support of the Specialty License Plate program, and grants provided by the Tennessee Arts Commission. We invite our members to virtually join Tennesseans For the Arts on March 9th, 2023 at 10am CST. Read below to find all the information you need to know about registering for the big day.

What does it cost?


Arts Advocacy Day 2023 is FREE to all Tn4Arts Members!


Not a Member but want to support the Arts in Tennessee? Are you interested in attending AAD 2023? Then now is the best time to join forces with Tennesseans for the Arts and help protect the Arts in Tennessee.





How long will the event last?


Grab your laptop or cellphone, pull up a chair, and maybe even some take out from your favorite local eatery because you won't want to miss this jam packed virtual event with Arts Advocacy Leaders from across the State of Tennessee.


We get it, you're busy! And so are our amazing speakers. The event lasts around an hour and a half. We will move from speaker to speaker through this fast paced multi topic agenda. How do I sign up?


It’s so easy! Just click below to go to our Arts Advocacy Day 2023 Website Page. There you will find a link to register and any updated info you might need. You will want to go ahead and register so that you receive all links and info to virtually attend on March 9th.





How will I know what to do on March 9th, 2023?


We will take care of it all! Once registered, you will be added to our virtual entrance list. We will remind you the week prior about the event and then you will receive an email the day before (March 8th) with the link to our Virtual Day on the Hill for supporting the Arts in Tennessee. Just click your invitation link a few minutes before AAD begins and you will automatically be joined to our group.

Buy A SPECIALTY LICENSE PLATE or DONATE to our efforts!

We must never forget, revenue from the specialty license plate program accounts for nearly 80% of the funding distributed annually by the Tennessee Arts Commission for grants to support the arts and sustain the work of our arts organizations. Tn4Arts members understand this funding is our lifeblood and protecting it is crucial.
