Arts Advocacy Day Tennessee 2024_edited.

DEAR ARTS ADVOCATES,

We need your help telling Legislators about the value of the arts in your community. We want to provide you with tools to help you focus your communication and fold your story into Tennesseans For the Art’s “one voice one message” strategy. We are asking you to join with fellow Arts Advocates for this years AAD Connecting Matters:  Driving Support Through Advocacy to amplify our voice for the arts in Tennessee through our support of the Specialty License Plate program and grants awarded by the Tennessee Arts Commission. With your participation, Tn4Art’s “one voice” is louder and “one message” stronger.

Join us for our Virtual Arts Advocacy "Day on the Hill" March 6th 2024 at 10am CST.  Free to all Tn4Arts Members! This year, we are excited to bring you updates from the Tennessee Arts Caucus, Tennessee Arts Commission, National Assembly of State Arts Agencies, highlights on different regional art disciplines, information on Active Advocacy Practices, the Specialty License Plate Program, and TN4ARTS membership. More information will be sent through member newsletters and on social media closer to the event. If you are not a member, please consider joining today and we ask you to please spread the word about becoming a member of Tn4Arts because Connecting Matters!

If you feel inclined to do a little extra, we have added a Donate to TFTA feature below and would appreciate the support, but that is entirely your choice.

Tn4Arts Members understand there is strength in numbers, and your membership not only helps sustain us, but sends the message to lawmakers the arts have an army in Tennessee.

Can't attend AAD and want to support the arts in Tennessee another way? Buy a SPECIALTY LICENSE PLATE!

We must never forget, revenue from the specialty license plate program accounts for nearly 80% of the funding distributed annually by the Tennessee Arts Commission for grants to support the arts and sustain the work of our arts organizations. TFTA members understand this funding is our lifeblood and protecting it is crucial.
