What you need to know about Tennessee's First Statewide Arts Calendar
Who is ready to attend events again? We definitely are! What better way to inform the Tennesseans For The Arts members than with the first ever Tennessee Statewide Arts Calendar. With events ranging from "Shakespeare in the Square" to "Family Fun Day" at your local Art Museums. One thing these events all have in common; they are FREE and open to the public! TFTA website visitors will be able to look through the Arts Calendar and see what is happening locally or even plan a short drive to a nearby town for something new.
TFTA's mission is to protect the arts across the state of Tennessee. By providing access to a list of statewide free arts events the mission stands strong in showing how impactful arts funding truly is to each community, big or small, in Tennessee.
You will find the Arts Calendar link located on the top tool bar of the TFTA website where visitors can easily access events and all the good details.
Arts Groups and Organizations that are TFTA members will have access to submit events through the button located under the calendar. There you can find guidelines and tips for submitting and promoting your event.
Each event has detailed information from a map to links for sharing with your friends on social media. And please share!
There is something for everyone when it comes to the Arts. TFTA is proud to undertake this feature for Tennesseans to celebrate and acknowledge the Visual Arts, Literary Arts, and Performing Arts across the state. So enjoy and be sure to participate because remember... The most convincing advocate can effectively communicate how the arts change people's lives and vitalize our Tennessee Communities.
Launched July 1 (we will be accepting July event submissions throughout July) please be sure to visit TFTA's Arts Calendar. You will find more information on calendar guidelines and event submissions at the bottom of the Arts Calendar page.
